Inductive Proximity Switches:

Technic Inductive Proximity Switches are designed to international standards which operate by the proximity of ferrous/non ferrous metals and are used for a wide range of industrial sensing and solid state switching applications.

Inductive Proximity Switches work on electromagnetic principle. It consists of a sensor, oscillator and a switching circuit. Inductive Proximity Switches are the most preferred switches for majority of applications which require accurate, non contact, detection of metal objects in various industrial applications.

Capacitive Proximity Switches:

Technic Capacitive Proximity Switches are non contact switching devices designed to sense metallic and non metallic objects in both solid and liquid form. These switches are capable of sensing materials like wood, marble, glass, plastic, water & so on. Capacitive proximity Switches use the variation of capacitance between the sensor and the object being detected. It is useful in applications, such as detection of full containers and non-detection of empty containers.

Photoelectric Sensors:

Technic Photoelectric Sensors use light sensitive elements to detect objects. Its made of an emitter and receiver. Technic Photoelectric sensors are of following types:
  • Diffuse Reflective Sensors
  • Retro Reflective Sensors
  • Through Beam Sensors

Diffuse Reflective Sensors:

Emitter and Receiver are housed together in a unit and use the light reflected directly off the object for detection. The emitter continuously emits invisible modulate infrared beam which is detected by the receiver when the beam is obstructed by any opaque object.

Retro Reflective Sensors:

Emitter and Receiver are housed together in a unit and it uses a reflector. An object is detected when it interrupts the light beam between the sensor and reflector. These sensors provide longer sensing distances, as the rays emitted are almost totally reflected towards the receiver.

Through Beam Sensors:

Emitter and Receiver are housed separately in two different units facing each other with their optical areas. It detects an object whenever the IR beam is interrupted. Amplifier circuit is incorporated in the receiver unit hence separate amplifier unit is not required and relay can be driven directly.

Control Unit:

Control Unit is used to supply regulated DC voltage and it consist of a relay output which can be connected to 110V, 230V AC. Delayed Output is also available in control unit. A amplifier is also provided in Control Unit. Sensing Distance adjustment potentiometer is provided in the Control unit.

Digital RPM Indicator:

Microcontroller and high speed quartz crystal is used to measure the rpm with high accuracy. It responds quickly to sudden change of RPM.
